We quote a price based on the project. After you inquire about our services, we schedule a consultation with you where we discuss the scope of your project and get an understanding of what all of your needs are and deadlines. Once we have an understanding we send you an invoice/quote through the email if you approve we will move forward.

We follow a clear, commission-based, end-to-end flow: after you inquire with goals, audience, timeline, and budget, we confirm fit and hold a focused discovery to define objectives. We then present a visual treatment, transparent scope, timeline, deliverables, and a fixed creative commission. Upon approval and a 50% greenlight deposit, we lock dates and handle R&D and pre-production (script, casting, locations, boards, schedule). Production follows. In post, we edit, mix, color, and add graphics/VFX as scoped; you review a rough cut with up to two rounds of consolidated notes. A 30% milestone is due at pre-pro lock and the remaining 30% at rough-cut approval (prior to delivery). We deliver masters and platform-ready exports, securely archive.

JJS is a director-led, commission model—clients come to us for our vision. You provide the essentials (e.g., song or project brief, goals, timeline, must-haves), and we develop the concept and treatment that best brings it to life; if the idea resonates, we move forward—if not, we pause. You approve the treatment and the pre-production lock, then we lead all on-set and editorial decisions to protect cinematic quality, schedule, and budget. In post, you’ll review a rough cut with up to two rounds of consolidated notes to ensure accuracy to your message and brand; major directional changes after pre-pro lock or beyond included notes are handled via change order. If you’d like a more hands-on role, a Co-Creative add-on (working sessions or extra review rounds) is available. A single point of contact and 2–3 business-day feedback windows keep everything smooth.

We give ourselves a two week grace period for the editing turnaround, but it is definitely a possibility that it can be delivered sooner than two weeks. We also can do rush deliveries.

Deposits reserve crew and dates and are generally non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, we’ll make every effort to accommodate within our calendar; any non-recoverable costs already incurred (permits, rentals, holds) will be passed through. Full terms are outlined in the agreement.

Yes. While our core focus is film, headshot sessions remain available due to high demand. Sessions are booked separately with dedicated rates and scheduling.

Yes—available via a separate license and handling fee, with exclusions for third-party or restricted assets. We’ll outline delivery format, timing, and any pass-through costs in a simple addendum.

We’re based in Ohio and work wherever the story needs us. Remote client viewing is available during production, and travel is billed at cost with transparent estimates for crew, equipment, and logistics.
